A neat little podcast about one of football's greatest, Lionel Messi, and the tumultuous relationship he's shared with his home country, Argentina. The podcast is ostensibly about the elusive national title that Messi just couldn't seem to win for Argentina (up until the 2022 World Cup). But Argentine-American host, Jasmine Garsd tells Messi's story in parallel to her own, a migration in tumultuous times to the US. Both stories give us the social, political and economic backdrop of Argentina in the 90s and early 2000s, telling both Messi's story and that of Argentina itself.
